Welcome to Community Works Consulting. Since 2005, we have dedicated ourselves to helping mission-driven organizations to be strong, powerful changemakers. We are committed to this because of a simple belief — those working in the nonprofit sector deserve trusted partners who understand their challenges and share their vision for changing the world. 

The idea for Community Works Consulting grew out of a simple but powerful realization: getting help that truly meets an organization’s needs is often harder than it should be. CWC was founded to counter this experience by offering a culture of service, flexibility, and partnership designed to strengthen organizations, not create more work for them. 

With decades of experience across the nonprofit sector, our team has helped organizations secure critical funding, strengthen infrastructure, and design strategies that transform the way they serve communities. What drives us is our love for this work and the privilege of standing alongside visionary leaders as collaborators, thought partners, and cheerleaders as they bring their visions for a better world to life. 

We know our approach is working. We have served more than 200 nonprofit sector organizations, with 95% of those coming to us from referrals. Nearly 50% of our clients extend their engagement with us by using more than one service. Since launching our facilitation services in 2011, we have provided more than 400 facilitated retreats, strategy sessions, and strategic planning gatherings. And, we raise an average of $12million annually in grant funding to support our clients’ critical work in their communities.
